Youth Program

The Mouse River Players continue their long tradition of not only producing quality theatre produtctions, but also making sure that thespians of all ages have a part in the theatrical process.

Thie Mouse River Players "Mini Mousers" program is designed specifically for young students, between the ages of 6 and 14. Program class are taught by experienced and trained local artists.

Mini Mousers' classes include:

• Puppetry
• Script writing
• Stage movement
• Audition techniques
• Acting techniques
• Dance movements of various styles
• Musical theatre techniques
• Oral techniques and tips
• Auditioning procedures

Classes lead to auditions for the Mouse River Players' annual family production. In this production, the majority of support, on and off the stage, comes from the participants in the Mini Mousers program.
